St. Edwards field details and map

St. Edwards Fields and Parking Map
Info provided by Sophie Clift.

St. Edward’s field address is the same as the university’s, 3001 South Congress Ave (Austin, Texas 78704).

Attached is a map illustrating the game day field, practice field, and parking opportunities. Unfortunately with such a small campus parking spaces near the field will be tight. I would try to encourage visitors to park in a further parking lot to allow players the opportunity to park closer to the field. I know that the image is a little wonky so I apologize if anything is confusing!

Allow me to break down the map and provide more information:

Game Day Field (Lower Field): Yellow

  • Please have any spectators bring folding chairs or a blanket
  • Spectators, coaches, or players with mobility concerns may have a harder time accessing the field
  • We will have designated tent areas for the playing teams

Warm Up Field (Teresa Field): Light blue

  • I would encourage captains or coaches to walk the perimeter of this field before conducting warm-ups. Our team has noticed divots and if we get any rain there may be some marsh-like spots. It would ease my mind that teams are first made aware of any potential imperfections before running
  • Please bring a travel day ball bag to this field!
  • Warm-ups can happen whenever on this field, I would encourage the second teams to begin during the first game to allow for proper warm-up time

Preferred Athlete Parking: Purple/dark blue

Alternative Parking Spots: Pink

  • These are further away, but the walk through campus is very beautiful!

The black lines show pathways on how to get to the field. There is one official field entrance. We encourage players, spectators, and officials to not hop the fence!

Bathrooms:

The closest bathroom to Lower Field is a porta potty. There is one next to the field and one near our NCAA field. There are other buildings on campus, such as Meadow’s Coffeehouse (circled in red) that have more bathrooms. I would encourage players to use alternative bathrooms before coming to the field if able because I understand that porta potties are not everyone’s favorite.

We are very excited to host the season opening and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. We would like to encourage players to bring any snacks, personal medication, and game day necessities that they see best fit. Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
